Darrel and Arloween Remington Scholarship
Background Information
The Darrel and Arloween Remington scholarship was established in 2024 by their sons, Kevin and Todd, in memory of the career educators. Arloween, a native of Regent, taught elementary and reading with the vast majority of her career spent in the Regent and Mott Schools before they were combined. Darrel, a native of Mott, was the Superintendent of Regent, Mott, and Belfield Schools in addition to serving on multiple state boards. They impacted innumerable lives in and out of the classroom. This endowment will allow their legacy of having a positive impact on Mott-Regent and Belfield students to continue.
