Harold & Eldeane Johnson Scholarship

Fund Background:  The Harold & Eldeane Johnson Scholarship was created by gifts from their children upon the death of Eldeane in January of 2009. Harold and Eldeane were life time supporters of Lisbon Public Schools. Harold, like his father Walter, served on the Lisbon School Board from 1957 until 1963. Harold was a 1934 graduate of Lisbon High School. Eldeane graduated from Verona High School in 1942. Harold and Eldeane were married in the fall of 1942 settling on the Johnson homestead NW of Lisbon in Tuller Township. It was on this farm that they raised eight children who all graduated from Lisbon High School with all eight going onto college. Harold and Eldeane were strong supporters of the Lisbon Public Schools and wanted ALL students to succeed.
