Calvin Andrist Scholarship
Fund Background: The Calvin L. Andrist Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 1977 by his family and friends. Mr. Andrist was a pioneer Northwestern North Dakota newspaperman for nearly 70 years prior to his death in December 1974. He was associated with the Divide County Journal for 53 years.
Eligibility Requirements: To financially assist students of journalism who complete a paid summer reporting internship with Journal Publishing, awarding a higher education scholarship for the coming year.
Applications accepted January 1 - April 1 only. Applications received outside of this window will NOT be accepted.
